The Nissan 90 TLDI (Two-Stroke, Low Pressure, Direct Injection) is one of the premier members of our new generation of two-stroke direct injection outboards. We have developed our TLDI® line of outboards to provide consumers with the best possible choice for environmentally friendly yet powerful outboards. We have that in the 90 TLDI.  And the 90 TLDI meets the EPA Standards for 2006 and carries a CARB 2-Star rating.

The 90 TLDI provides significant increases in fuel and oil economy while also providing a decrease in hydrocarbons through exhaust.  This is turn gives you a clean, quiet boat ride and reduced operating cost. The 90 TLDI also provides several safety sensor functions such as a water temperature sensor built into the block to provide a more accurate internal temperature to prevent overheating, a rev-limit sensor to limit RPM range so that you do not over-rev your outboard, an oil level light that provides a warning to possible low oil levels, and dual TPS’s (Throttle Position Sensor) that will increase air flow precision to give you the best possible fuel efficiency and limit the amount of emissions put into the environment. All of these dependable features come standard on every TLDI® system.
